I live in Beirut and have written for The New York Times, Financial Times, GQ, Bon Appetit, Slate, Salon, Bookforum, The Paris Review, The Awl, The Atlantic, and Los Angeles Review of Books, among others.

My first book, a collection of essays, will be published by Dzanc in May 2014.
